Winner of the Web Excellence Awards 2024

Sage has been making bold moves in the tech space, especially when it comes to using AI in ways that genuinely help customers. Our team had the opportunity to work alongside them on a series of exciting projects, supporting both their web and product design efforts as they launched new tools and experiences for their users.

We worked closely with the wider Sage team, from product leads to developers and brand specialists, to help shape everything from early ideas through to fully built features. That included designing new apps, rethinking how services are presented online, and making sure everything not only looked great but worked seamlessly too.

As part of our collaboration, we also led user testing sessions to validate new concepts and features, helping the team understand what resonated with users and what needed refining. Alongside that, we carried out UX audits on existing products to uncover areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing the overall experience.

What we did:

• Designed new features and apps aimed at helping customers get more done, more easily

• Led user testing for new ideas and feature concepts to ensure they met real user needs

• Provided UX audits of existing products to identify opportunities for improvement

• Supported the launch of Sage Copilot, an AI tool that acts like an extra pair of hands in your business

• Worked with Sage’s brand team to reflect their evolving identity and brand proposition across both web and product

• Partnered with the development team to test, refine, and troubleshoot along the way

• Ran workshops and mentored designers within the business to help them get the most out of the design system

One of the standout projects was Sage Copilot – a smart assistant built to feel like another member of the team. It can answer questions like “How were sales last month?” or spot unusual trends in data before they become a problem. The key to saving time and helping users work smarter, and it was a real joy to be part of the team that brought it to life.
